English lesson update Katerina´s group:
In the first block we learned : What is the time? It is XY o´clock.
Then we read again the article To the zoo. Please read it over Christmas. We worked on numbers and number problems. (5 +2) All should know numbers up to 20 in writing including. We sang christmas songs Jingle Bells, Christmas is coming to town.
English lesson update Milena´s group:
In the first block we did our best to complete all the tasks so that we have time for fun. We practiced Christmas vocabulary. Kids continued writing new words into their notebooks – we gradually add new categories and words. We also worked on finishing the tasks we have not managed to finish during previous lessons. Kids also read various articles and answered related questions. We again worked on synonyms, antonyms and adjectives. Some kids even managed to complete some math word problems.
In the second and third block we were both groups together, we prepared some refreshments – kids created Christmas tree out of fruits which they later ate and we also baked some homemade pizza. We also listened to an audio book, Christmas carols and we created some Christmas pictures.
Kids have a “special” holiday homework – each kid chose his/her preferred option out of the provided activity list
Katerina´s group- David, Juraj, Kuba, Emma : write a story that happend in Christmas time or about Christmas (pictures included) then they will present their writings at school.
